Meet Burnsy

My name is Charlie Burns and I sometimes go by 'Burnsy'.  I am a world-class videographer and photographer creating high quality content for national brands and figures.  My services help improve the overall look and feel of each brand, creating a better experience for users, which is directly correlated to increased sales of digital products and increased engagement.  

My Story

Ever since I was young, I had an immense passion of creating content and sharing it with the world.  When I was around 10 years old, I started recording myself playing the video game "Call of Duty", and edited my best clips and highlights to music I loved.  I fell in love with choosing music and editing to the beat.  I fell in love with reading the comments and engaging with the community.  Unfortunately, I gave up creating content because I let critics get to me.  The word around my high school was that I was good at this game and had "no life".   This was the end of me creating content for a while. 

After graduating high school, I had the privilege to go to college. At the time, I lacked a true vision of who I was and what I wanted to do, so I was confused about what I wanted to study.  In 2017 I graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology.  Shortly after graduating, I attained a low-level security job where I spent most of my days sitting on my phone pondering what I could truly see myself doing.  Being on my phone actually helped me realize my true potential.  I was obsessed with fitness and followed a fitness influencer and YouTuber named Christian Guzman.  Each video was extremely high quality and the editing was inspiring.  It brought back the nostalgia of my Call of Duty days editing my clips to music.

Around 2019, I picked up my own camera for the first time.  I offered free videos to my fellow fitness friends and small businesses.  I started posting these videos on social media, which brought back my passion for creating content and getting feedback from others. I spent most of my days watching and learning from YouTube tutorials.  I fell in love with mastering my craft and sharing my journey with the world.  

From shooting videos for free, to working with some of the top names in social media and entertainment, I am extremely proud of myself for what I have achieved so far.  I am eager to hear your story and your vision for your brand.  Let's create!
